Plant Operators (Témiscaming, QC)

Anomera seeks Operators for our Temiscaming QC operation. Under the direction of the Operations Superintendent, the Operator has a primary responsibility to operate the equipment according to specifications and with respect to operational guidelines. This position requires operational experience as well as excellent troubleshooting skills. The ability to work as part of a team is critical to this position. A good maintenance background would be considered an asset. Location: Temiscaming, Quebec

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment as per guidelines
  • Perform work according to health & safety rules and regulations
  • Inform Superintendent of all important operational changes and/or anomalies

Required Experience and Knowledge

  • Prior mill operation experience in a production environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a team environment
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail and good written and oral communication skills
  • Problem solver with the ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic organization

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and industry experience
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada

Desirable Qualifications

  • Maintenance experience and/or certification
  • College certificate/diploma in a related field
